We’ve built a team with distinctive and diverse healthcare and technology experience and a shared Mission to Enable Better Care.
In 2023, Practice Pro welcomed Tim as the new CEO, after having served the last 8 years as the company’s CFO/COO. Tim is incredibly focused and mission driven, and passionate about helping our customers deliver quality care to their patients.
His 30-year career, in large part, has been spent as an entrepreneur and C-level Exec, leading start-up to high-growth software and healthcare companies, accelerating and scaling their operations and growth. His most recent role was as Co-Founder and CFO/COO of a regional outpatient rehabilitation provider network. He held this role from its founding in 2007, and in 2022 led the sale to a private equity backed investor. Concurrent with this role and other work, he is also the Co-founder and Managing Partner of a private investment and management firm with clients and holdings in healthcare, technology, and commercial real estate development.
In addition to his work, he is Co-Host for “The Patient First Mission Segment”, a local Community Interest format radio show where he discusses healthcare, education, and patient’s rights topics, and a Co-Host of “The Re-Wired Series”, a podcast covering similar topics.
With a passion for health and wellness, Tim is a competitive cyclist, both road and mountain, is a high school mountain bike coach with the Issaqueena Composite Cycling Team, and a founding member of the South Carolina Interscholastic Cycling League, a division of NICA. He enjoys spending time with his family cycling, and enjoying life outdoors, and giving back through the Excel Foundation, a not for profit group, that he co-founded, that raises funding for charitable healthcare and children’s organizations.
Sanjay’s work and passion, which began over 20 years ago, combine two of his favorite things; problem-solving and connecting truly innovative technology solutions with rehab businesses, to improve the lives of the patients they serve.
Following completion of his studies at City College of NY, he held management and consultative roles with Merrill Lynch, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Bristol Myers Squibb, Bank of America and Eli Lilly and other companies, in desktop and cloud application, search engine, and security architecture design/build.
While consulting for a large physical therapy practice network in the northeast, he quickly recognized the need for an integrated EMR and practice management solution, and founded Practice Pro in 2000, embarking on a journey that would change an industry, a profession, and care delivery.
What drives him stems from a foundational understanding that technology, designed well, unifies people with a purpose; that the right technology, in the hands of practice owners and skilled therapists, can play a significant role in care delivery and positive outcomes.
As the Chief Product Officer at Practice Pro, his purpose and promise to our clients is simple: design and build solutions that minimize the complexities of the EMR to allow therapists to spend more hands-on time caring for their patients. He believes that Enabling Better Care leads to better business, profitability, and growth — sustaining and strengthening the ability to deliver unmatched care to more patients and communities.
To that end, it is his life’s work to ensure that no matter who you are or how simple, advanced, or unique your practice needs, Practice Pro is your partner, committed to providing the right solutions for your success.
When not solving problems for our clients, Sanjay enjoys the competition of tennis and pickle ball, hiking, and spending time with his wife and two sons traveling.
