Practice Pro has appointed a new CEO. Tim Moore has been named the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Tim succeeds Sanjay Patel, who has served as CEO since founding the company in 2000.
What changed
Sanjay was the architect of a new vision for rehab therapy with the first cloud-based physical therapy EMR software that also included pediatric therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Going forward, Sanjay will serve as Chief Product Officer and will continue to lead EMR software development efforts to provide creative solutions for the many challenges that rehab therapy providers face daily in their front desk, documentation, patient care, and billing and compliance areas.
New CEO Tim Moore’s 30-year career, in large part, has been spent as an entrepreneur and C-level Exec, leading start-ups to high-growth software and healthcare companies, accelerating and scaling their operations and growth. His most recent role was as Principal and CFO/COO of a regional outpatient rehabilitation provider network. He held this role from its founding in 2007, and in 2022 led the sale to a private equity backed investor. Concurrent with this role and other work, he is also the founder and Managing Principal of a private investment and management firm with clients and holdings in healthcare, technology, and commercial real estate development.
What does not change
At the same time, Practice Pro’s product vision does not change. It continues to be about building world-class rehab therapy software solutions that enable rehab practice owners and teams to run and grow their operations while delivering the best possible care and ensuring compliance along with healthy cash flows.
